In Twilight We Do Search

My second to last acrylic portrait before moving on to oils, and during my surrealist phase, influenced largely by women surrealists such as Kay Sage, Leonora Fini, and Dorothea Tanning. For me I also detect an element of Maxfield Parrish in the use of the twilight theme.

It was around now I began to get frustrated with the limitations of working time for acrylics and that they did not allow me to accomplish all that I wished to try.
